ROHINGYA APPEAL

HELP US TO DELIVER AID FOR THE ROHINGYA

Hundreds Of Thousands Require Food And Shelter

The Rohingya are a predominantly Muslim ethnic minority group originally from Rakhine State in Myanmar. In 2017 they were victims of genocide. Action For Humanity continues to provide support to vulnerable Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. We provided quality shelters as part of the Global Relief’s Eco Village for vulnerable Rohingya refugees. The shelters were built in manageable micro-clusters with toilets and bathing facilities. The project has provided shelters to 59 families in Kutupalong, Cox’s Bazar district where it has reached 893 beneficiaries.

We have also provided non-food items, water aid and medical assistance to more than 4,000 Rohingya beneficiaries fleeing the crisis. We have also set up a medical clinic in camps to monitor the developing health status of refugees, reduce malnutrition and refer serious cases to hospitals. Over 45,000 people benefited from this project.

Build a water well for the Rohingya Refugees

In 2017, an exodus of Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar led to 1.3 million refugees arriving in neighbouring Bangladesh. Action For Humanity, responded with immediate emergency aid, followed by the implementation of longer-term programmes. At the heart of this is the provision of clean and safe water for drinking and domestic use.

Action For Humanity are digging water wells in Bangladesh for the Rohingya refugees. The extracted water will be channelled to 50 refugee tents through water pipelines, helping more than 150 people.
