As winter arrives, a new challenge emerges. The nights grow longer, the air becomes colder, and the heating in temporary shelters struggles to provide comfort. Many families have almost nothing besides the clothes they travelled in. Children shiver beneath thin blankets, while parents lie awake, worried about keeping them warm.
