PAKISTAN FLOODS APPEAL
Deadly floods have swept through Pakistan, leaving families homeless and hungry. Your help can save lives now.
FLOODS ACROSS PAKISTAN
More than 120 districts have been hit, over 12,500 houses damaged, roads and bridges swept away, and over 1,000 lives lost. Pakistan is facing yet another devastating wave of climate-induced flooding. Since late June, heavy monsoon rains, flash floods, and landslides have wreaked havoc across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and Sindh.
Entire towns have been submerged. In Alipur, 40,000 people lost their homes, while in Jalalpur Pirwala, nearly 100,000 had to be evacuated. Across Punjab, 2.5 million acres of farmland have been destroyed, with 3 million people displaced and 150,000 still in evacuation centres. In KPK, a dengue outbreak is contributing to the crisis, with 1,329 cases already confirmed. With floodwaters pushing the Indus River to perilous levels, millions remain at risk.
This is a climate crisis unfolding before our eyes. Action For Humanity is on the ground, delivering urgent relief, but we need your support to reach more families before it’s too late.

SEPTEMBER UPDATE
Over the recent decades, Pakistan has continued to face increasingly frequent and intense floods due to climate change, severely impacting lives, livelihoods, and infrastructure. After the devastating floods of 2010 and 2022, Pakistan is once again at the forefront of another climate-induced catastrophe.
The ongoing floods, which began on June 26, have impacted over 6.9 million people, including 4.7 million in Punjab and 1.6 million in KPK, damaging more than 12,500 homes and cutting off key road networks.
In Punjab, Alipur was completely submerged, and nearly 100,000 people were evacuated from Jalalpur Pirwala. In KPK, landslides and destroyed bridges are restricting access in Shangla and Buner, while 504 deaths have been reported in KPK alone. Across the country, more than 1,000 people have died, and 1,981 km of roads and 239 bridges have been destroyed.
Authorities warn of worsening conditions as floodwaters surge downstream into Sindh, inundating riverine communities and forcing thousands more to flee. With humanitarian needs escalating, families urgently require hot meals, WASH dignity kits, food packs, shelter, and non-food items to survive these difficult times.

WHAT WE ARE DOING
Our teams in Punjab and KPK have already mobilised to deliver life-saving support:
+ Food packs with rice, pulses, flour, oil, tea, and clean drinking water.
+ WASH & dignity kits to protect families from disease outbreaks.
+ Temporary shelter support for displaced families forced from their homes.
Expanding Food Distribution
Action For Humanity will scale up food distribution across flood-affected communities in Pakistan, ensuring that families who have lost everything receive immediate access to life-saving meals and essential nutrition during this critical time.
Providing Safe Shelter
We will deliver safe and secure shelter solutions for displaced families, giving them protection from the elements and a sense of stability as they begin to rebuild their lives.
Supporting Agricultural Recovery
By helping farmers restore their crops and livestock, Action For Humanity will support the recovery of livelihoods, enabling families to regain their independence and strengthen food security in their communities.
Building Long-Term Resilience
Beyond emergency response, we are committed to laying the foundations for long-term resilience, equipping vulnerable communities with the resources and knowledge needed to withstand future climate disasters.
