• We guarantee 100% Shariah-compliant slaughter and processing.
• Distribution focuses on communities most in need.
• You receive transparent reporting and recognition of your support.
• In Gaza, a canned meat option ensures safe, lasting delivery despite conflict and crisis.

YOUR QURBANI,
THEIR LIFELINE
We ensure that your sacrifice reaches the world’s most vulnerable. From the heart of Syria to the devastation of Palestine, across Yemen and beyond, your Qurbani brings nourishment and hope to those enduring the unimaginable.
Qurbani 2025 distributions will prioritise the most vulnerable groups, including:
• Orphans left without guardians
• Widows carrying entire households alone
• Families displaced by conflict
• Communities trapped in cycles of extreme poverty
Special care will be taken to ensure fair, needs-based distribution in coordination with local humanitarian networks.
QURBANI FAQs
How much does it cost to give Qurbani?
Prices vary by region and animal type:
• Jordan: £240 (sheep/goat)
• Lebanon: £300 (sheep/goat)
• Pakistan: £60 (cow share)
• Gaza: £160 (canned meat for families)
• Palestine: £700 (sheep) / £400 (cow share)
• Syria: £330 (sheep/goat)
• Yemen: £110 (sheep/goat)
How will the Qurbani meat be sourced and delivered?
Qurbani animals will be procured and slaughtered in accordance with Islamic guidelines in countries such as Egypt or other suitable nearby locations. The meat will be immediately canned to preserve its freshness and safety, and then shipped by sea to Gaza, pending border access and crossing conditions.
Why is the Gaza meat canned instead of delivered fresh?
• Longer shelf-life, especially crucial in areas facing ongoing humanitarian crises.
• Safe transport and storage without relying on unstable electricity or refrigeration facilities.
• Guaranteed quality by maintaining nutritional value until delivery to beneficiaries. Given the blockade and unpredictable access conditions, canning is the most reliable solution to ensure Eid meat reaches those who need it.
* Due to the ongoing emergency situation in Palestine, specific branding or feedback may not be possible for meat distributed in Palestine.
Why is AFH not procuring sacrificial animals inside Gaza?
Due to the severe blockade and economic crisis in Gaza, local procurement risks further inflation in livestock prices. Food prices have already increased by over 1,400%. Sourcing animals locally would place additional strain on everyday people.
We are sourcing animals from stable markets in neighbouring areas to adhere to our ‘Do No Harm’ principle and safeguard vulnerable communities.
* Due to the ongoing emergency situation in Palestine, specific branding or feedback may not be possible for meat distributed in Palestine.
What is the 'Do No Harm' prinicple?
The ‘Do No Harm’ principle requires Action For Humanity to take steps to prevent and lessen any negative impacts of our actions in the areas where we work and for our beneficiaries. We aim for a conflict-sensitive approach, being careful not to unintentionally worsen conditions for vulnerable communities.
How does this project align with Islamic principles?
Each stage of the Qurbani project, including the selection and slaughter of animals and distribution, adheres strictly to Islamic teachings (Dhabihah). The goal is to fulfil the Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), share blessings with families in need, and uphold the dignity of Eid for those facing the harshest conditions.
