DAILY BREAD FOR FAMILIES IN GAZA
Providing essential nutrition to vulnerable households through fresh bread distribution.
THE IMPACT WE ARE MAKING
As food insecurity worsens throughout the Gaza Strip, thousands of families find it difficult to access even the most basic food supplies. Bread has become scarce and unaffordable for many. In response, Action For Humanity launched a two-month emergency food project (September–November 2025) to distribute fresh bread to 400 displaced and vulnerable families across Gaza City.
Each family received 1kg of bread daily for seven days, helping to meet immediate nutritional needs and reduce hunger during a period of severe crisis. The project collaborated with local bakeries to produce, package, and deliver bread safely to community distribution points, supporting not only households in need but also the local economy.
By providing this simple yet essential staple, AFH helped families uphold dignity and resilience in one of the world’s most challenging humanitarian settings.

SUSTAINING LOCAL CAPACITY
Beyond immediate relief, the project strengthened local food systems by engaging Gaza’s bakeries and suppliers. The networks, data, and community mechanisms developed through this intervention now serve as a foundation for future food security initiatives, linking emergency response to longer-term resilience.
