WEST BANK WATER & ENERGY
Strengthening health services in Jenin and Tubas through renewable energy and reliable water infrastructure.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
In Jenin and Tubas, hospitals are struggling to maintain essential services amid repeated power cuts and water shortages caused by conflict-related damage and chronic underinvestment. These disruptions threaten lifesaving departments like maternity wards, dialysis, and emergency units that depend on uninterrupted electricity and clean water.
These interventions will enhance healthcare delivery for more than 32,000 direct beneficiaries and indirectly support over 450,000 people across both governorates. By securing sustainable water and power infrastructure, the project strengthens the resilience of hospitals that serve as lifelines for entire communities.

Systems and Sustainability
This project restored critical services in Jenin and Tubas and strengthened long-term health resilience across the West Bank. By combining solar power with sustainable water systems, we reduced reliance on costly fuel and emergency water trucking.
The collaboration with the Ministry of Health ensures maintenance and integration into existing facility operations, aligning with national WASH and health priorities for sustainable, climate-resilient infrastructure.
