This deployment offers participants insight into humanitarian response in a refugee-hosting context, where emergency aid, protection services, and livelihoods support are critical to helping families meet basic needs and reduce long-term dependence on assistance.

WHY DEPLOY TO JORDAN?

Jordan hosts one of the highest numbers of refugees per capita in the world, welcoming millions of people displaced from Syria, Palestine, Iraq, Yemen, and beyond. Many refugee families including multigenerational Palestinian households have lived in overcrowded and often squalid camps for decades, while others survive in host communities under severe economic strain. Alongside them, vulnerable Jordanians face rising living costs and limited opportunities.

This deployment offers participants insight into humanitarian response in a refugee hosting context, where emergency aid, protection services, and livelihoods support are critical to helping families meet basic needs and reduce long term dependence on assistance.

Volunteers will witness how Action For Humanity delivers dignified, faith sensitive aid to refugee and host communities, including food assistance, cash support, Zakat distribution, and protection services, while responding to regional crises impacting families across borders.

RESTORING HOPE IN JORDAN

Over the past years, Action For Humanity has delivered essential aid across Jordan, with a focus on reaching underserved and forgotten communities in the country. Your aim is not only to meet immediate needs, but to restore dignity and resilience through sustainable interventions.
