OUR RESPONSE IN JORDAN

Jordan hosts one of the highest numbers of refugees per capita in the world, with families arriving from Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Palestine. Living in cramped camps and host communities, many face daily struggles for food, shelter, and support.

This Ramadan, your generosity reached over 5,400 people, helping households access food and support during a challenging time.

+  More than 2,200 people received food baskets to support them throughout the month

+  Over 3,000 people received Zakat support to help meet urgent needs

+  Hot meals were delivered to individuals facing immediate hardship

Your support helped families manage daily expenses and observe Ramadan with greater stability.

HUMANITY CUP: STANDING IN SOLIDARITY

This Ramadan, we strengthened our presence in Jordan through key deployments, including the Humanity Cup initiative, which raised over £325,000.

As part of this project, volunteers from the Manchester United Muslim Supporters’ Club travelled to one of the largest Palestinian refugee camps, where they spent time with families, listening to their stories and building real human connections. They shared iftar meals, distributed Zakat directly to families, and stood alongside communities in prayer.

Football brought people together in a way that transcended sport and even went beyond borders. It was about presence, solidarity, and showing communities in Jordan that they are not forgotten.
