PROVIDING FOR REFUGEES
Many asylum seekers and refugees in the UK face isolation, financial hardship, and cultural disconnection, especially during Ramadan. We stepped in to provide 3,000 hot Iftar meals and Suhoor packs filled with essentials such as bread, dates, honey, and beans, allowing individuals and families to observe the holy month with dignity.
Working alongside Manchester Women’s Aid and The Pankhurst Trust, we ensured that women and children in refuge, particularly those with no recourse to public funds, were not forgotten.
Across the UK, many families continue to feel the impact of the cost-of-living crisis, with rising food prices and limited household income. This Ramadan, your generosity reached over 4,200 people, including families, refugees, asylum seekers, and people experiencing homelessness.
