UK Homeless Support Programme: Catering Partner Tender
Action For Humanity delivers practical support to people facing hardship across the UK. Our domestic programmes focus on meeting immediate needs while supporting longer-term stability for individuals and families experiencing poverty, displacement, and homelessness.
Our Work in the UK
Through our UK domestic projects, we provide food support and essential items for people struggling to meet basic needs. Alongside this, we deliver longer-term programmes including education, vocational training, and mentorship for refugees and asylum seekers.
We work closely with community partners in Manchester and surrounding areas, focusing on supporting women and young people to overcome barriers and move towards independence. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, demand for food support has remained high. Action For Humanity has provided culturally appropriate halal hot meals each week to people most at risk in our communities. To date, we have prepared and delivered almost 250,000 hot meals across our UK programmes.
For more than four years, our UK Community Kitchen Project has supported people across Manchester and Tameside, delivering over 100,000 hot meals in partnership with local organisations and volunteers.
