Join us this Ramadan for a peaceful sisters-only nature walk and reflection session led by Farzana Azam and Amira Patel. This faith-led experience blends mindful movement, dhikr, reflection, and sisterhood in a safe and welcoming environment.

Designed to reconnect women with nature, spirituality, and community, this walk is a chance to slow down, reflect, and share iftar together while raising vital funds for families in need.

Whether it’s answering questions, offering encouragement, or helping teams stay organised, she is the go-to support for anyone embarking on an AFH challenge.

Amira is an adventurer, spiritual guide, and the visionary behind The Wanderlust Women — a global community helping Muslim women reconnect with nature, faith, and sisterhood. Through spiritual and nature-based experiences, Amira creates spaces where women can heal, reflect, and grow. From mountain trails to soul-deep conversations, she shows that faith and adventure walk hand in hand.

This challenge supports Action For Humanity’s Zakat Cash Programme, providing direct financial assistance to displaced and vulnerable families.

Your fundraising empowers families to meet essential needs such as food, clothing, medicine, and shelter with dignity and choice. These funds reach the most vulnerable across Gaza, Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan — including widows, orphans, and households without income.

Your walk becomes worship. Your steps become support.

Secure your place by completing your registration and payment. Your place on the challenge is only confirmed once payment has been received.

Create Your Fundraising Page

All participants are required to create an individual fundraising page via LaunchGood.

I discovered my love for hiking in my late 30s, starting with Mount Snowden in 2021 for Gaza. Since then, my daughter Mariyam and I have taken part in many charity hikes, combining wellbeing with purpose. This year we joined Farzana in the UK and hiked Pico Do Areiro in Madeira. Tough but unforgettable, especially doing it together and reflecting on Gaza.

I am nine and have been hiking for charity since I was four. My first hike was Aysgarth Waterfalls for Gaza, and since then I’ve enjoyed trails like Mam Tor and Malham Cove. This year I joined Auntie Farzana on the Madeira trek. It was windy and tough, but I kept going for Gaza and loved the support and new friends.

On Kilimanjaro, we weren’t asked to reach the summit, only to give our absolute limit — and we did. The unity among us was powerful, filled with support and positivity. Not everyone summited, yet everyone achieved something meaningful. Our resilience and shared mission for Gaza and Syria turned this challenge into a transformative and unforgettable experience.
