Sadaqah Jariyah Solar Water Well Appeal | Pakistan

We are raising funds to honour the lives and legacy of our beloved Auntie Cheemi (Tasnim Ijaz Minhaj) and her husband, Uncle Ijaz, by building solar-powered water wells in Pakistan.

Auntie Cheemi was a much-loved member of the community whose kindness, warmth and generosity touched countless lives. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds, making everyone feel welcomed and valued.

Hundreds of people gathered at Ashton Central Mosque to pay their final respects, a beautiful reflection of the love and respect she had earned throughout her life.

Following the passing of her beloved husband, Uncle Ijaz, a few years earlier, Auntie Cheemi deeply missed his companionship. Their love and devotion to one another will always be remembered by their family and community.

A Lasting Legacy Through Sadaqah Jariyah

In consultation with the family, we have chosen to honour both Auntie Cheemi and Uncle Ijaz by raising funds to construct solar-powered water wells in Pakistan.

Access to clean water can transform lives, providing families and communities with a reliable source of water for drinking, cooking and everyday needs.

Through this Sadaqah Jariyah appeal, we hope that every drop of water provided will become a source of ongoing reward for Auntie Cheemi and Uncle Ijaz, inshaAllah.
