Rebuilding the Blessed Land of Shaam

Join us for a special evening in Leicester with international nasheed artist Mikhaael Mala, bringing together inspiration, reflection and giving in support of communities rebuilding their lives in Syria.

Through an evening of moving nasheeds and reflection, Mikhaael Mala will bring his distinctive voice to a night dedicated to the people of Syria and the journey towards recovery after more than 14 years of crisis.

Hosted by Action For Humanity, Rebuilding the Blessed Land of Shaam is an opportunity to come together, reflect and turn your compassion into action for families and communities working to rebuild their futures.

Funds raised on the night will support Action For Humanity's Rebuild Syria work, including the Darayya Community Development and Resilience Centre in Damascus. The centre will help provide a space where people can access support and opportunities as communities recover and rebuild.

Syria is where Action For Humanity's story began 15 years ago. Today, as families return to towns and neighbourhoods they were forced to leave, we remain alongside communities as they rebuild homes, restore essential services and create the foundations for a better future.

Join us for an evening of beautiful nasheeds, shared reflection and generosity, and help support the next chapter for communities across Syria.

Supporting Rebuilding Syria

Funds raised from this event will support Action For Humanity's Rebuild Syria work, including the Darayya Community Development and Resilience Centre in Damascus.

After more than 14 years of crisis, families across Syria are returning to communities where homes and essential services have been damaged or overstretched. Rebuilding means more than restoring what was lost. It means creating the spaces, services and opportunities communities need to build their futures.

The Darayya Community Development and Resilience Centre will bring this support together in one place. The centre will include a masjid supporting spiritual wellbeing and healing, a medical centre providing essential healthcare, and a vocational training centre offering skills-based learning, entrepreneurship and opportunities for young people.
